JSC Vologodskiye Lesopromyshlenniki Group allocated 1.6 million rubles to repair the bridge over the Vostochnaya Pocha river on the Feklukha-Madovitsy road.
Residents of Verkhovazhsky and Tarnogsky districts appealed to the Group’s management for help in restoring the ruined crossing. Together with members of the Legislative Assembly, representatives of the Tarnogsky and Verkhovazhsky districts, the Department of Road Facilities, Ustyansky LK, DRSU, a step-by-step road map was prepared for repairing the bridge and preparing documentation for the transfer of the road to the regional ownership. Estimates for repair work were determined and a contractor was selected.
In April 2022, rehabilitation work on the bridge began. Half of the cost of the repair will be paid by the Vologda Timber Industry.
