“Vologda Timber Industry Workers” Helping Restore Unique Lighthouse Church in Krokhino

The Vologda Timber Industry Group provided a 50% discount to the Krohino Cultural Heritage Revival Center Charitable Foundation for the purchase of some of the lumber needed to preserve the flooded lighthouse temple in the village of Krohino, Belozersky District, Vologda Region.
37.4 cubic meters of lumber arrived to the temple island in Krohino from the company Kharovsklesprom LLC. They are intended for the construction of the conservation scaffolding around the temple, sheeting of the sheet wall of the shore protection and the creation of an architectural installation with the name of the flooded village. Thanks to the necessary building materials, the fund will be able to carry out part of the planned work.
