On August 5, 2021 on the basis of the sawmill woodworking plant № 2 in Vytegra, Vologda region held fire tactical exercises of representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
For the exercise were involved forces and resources of the 35th Fire and Rescue Unit, the Fire Service of the region, ASUNC Vytegra, GIBDD and Vytegorsky district hospital.
During the event the employees of the management of Sawmill № 2 and the sawmill staff according to the fire calculation took part in extinguishing of a simulated fire.
As part of the training, questions of interaction between firefighters, emergency services and facility management involved in the extinguishing of a simulated fire were worked out, and the order of units’ actions was defined.
The exercises were summarized afterwards, problematic issues were discussed and actions of involved forces and resources were evaluated.
Note that for LDK № 2 and other companies of the Vologda Group it is very important to take an active part in such large-scale events related to security. They allow us to practice the necessary skills in advance so that our employees are prepared and able to act correctly in an emergency situation.
