Sheksninsky Wood Boards Plant LLC held a firefighting exercise on extinguishing a simulated fire in the plant’s transport shop.
The main purpose of the exercise was to train members of the SHKDP Volunteer Fire Brigade in competent and prompt actions in case of fire: extinguishing the fire and preventing the fire from spreading.
Also during the training the interaction of voluntary firefighters with the employees of the 16th Fire and Rescue Squad for the protection of Sheksna settlement and Fire Brigade 62 of the Fire Prevention Service of the region were practiced.
“The exercise showed the readiness of volunteers to carry out measures to protect the enterprise and contain the fire before the arrival of the main firefighting forces,” shared Sergei Nosov, head of the Volunteer Fire Brigade.
