June 2, the Vologda region took part in the presentation of economic, investment and tourist potential, which was held in the Cultural Center under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The meeting was attended by 72 diplomats, including 23 Ambassadors from 36 countries.
JSC “Group of companies “Vologda timber industry” took part in the exhibition from the timber industry complex.
VLP Group presented samples of its products at the thematic stand. The delegation took part in business negotiations on the supply of products with invited persons representing friendly countries.
Denis Barabanov, Director of Strategic Development of JSC “Vologda Wood Products Group”:
“We held 10 meetings with representatives of friendly countries, including representatives of China, Vietnam, Algeria, Egypt, Colombia and Thailand. We agreed, if possible, to get contacts of businesses interested in our products. In addition, members of Chinese Union of Entrepreneurs (it is an analogue of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) have promised to assist in the organization of our representation in China.
Vologda region was the first region, which held a presentation in the new reality.
