An object of cultural heritage of regional importance – the Church of the Purification of the Lord in Vytegra – is the main Orthodox object of the district.
As of today, scaffolding has been installed along the entire perimeter of the building, the bell tower and part of the facade have been plastered, and the main amount of work is to be done next year.
Much work has been done on the reconstruction of the church’s boiler room. A new boiler, chimney and heating system have been installed.
The next stage of the reconstruction of the temple is planned for the spring of 2023
