On March 18, 2022, the annual Labor Festival was held in the Gryazovets Municipal District, where the best enterprises were awarded.
LLC VokhtogaLesDrev, which is owned on a parity basis by Vologodskiye Lesopromyshlenniki Group together with JSC CFMK, won in several nominations at once. The company was awarded as “The best enterprise of the district”, and its director Alexander Govorushko won in the nomination “Manager of the Year”.
In addition, the plant “took” the award as “The best enterprise team”. The lamination section of LLC VokhtogaLesDrev received a diploma. Natalya Smirnova – senior technologist of impregnation shop and Anatoly Travin – 6-th maintenance fitter of the preventive group of board production received the “Best by profession” title. Ilya Stolinin – presser of wood and fire-boards, 5th category, laminating section, got “Gold” in the category “Young Professional”.
Alexander Govorushko, head of VokhtogaLesDrev Ltd:
"In 2021 we produced 62.8% more marketable products than in 2020. We also modernized the impregnation shop, which allowed us to increase the production of cladding film by 63%. Last year we managed to index wages, concluded a new collective agreement improving social guarantees for employees. We actively supported social institutions in the Vokhtoga settlement and celebrated the 60th anniversary of the enterprise. All of this was made possible thanks in part to the support of the Vologda Region and Gryazovets Municipal District leaders, who created a favorable investment climate for the enterprises. On the whole, I consider 2021 to be a very successful year. This is confirmed by these awards.
The Labor Festival was held to encourage the best labor collectives, best production and social sphere leaders based on the results of the socio-economic development of the Gryazovets Municipal District in 2021, enhance the prestige of professions employed in the district economy and the budget sphere, provide information about the activities of local government and the prospects of the district development to the population.

On the whole during the year we managed to ensure the growth of the main economic indicators, fulfillment of the tasks indicated in the Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, implementation of projects in education, culture, sports, health care and business. We retained leadership in the production of agricultural products and the volume of investment, in the production of industrial products for the first time entered the top five. According to the comprehensive assessment of the main socio-economic indicators for 2021, Gryazovetsky District ranks third among the districts of the Vologda Oblast".
