On April 29, 2022, the office held a tripartite signing of an additional agreement to the regional industry agreement on the timber industry of the Vologda region for 2019-2022. This document extended its validity for the next three years.
On the side of the Association of Regional Association of Employers “Union of Forest Industrialists and Forest Exporters of the Vologda region” the agreement was signed by Alexander Churkin, Chairman of the Union Council, on the side of the Vologda regional organization of the Trade Union of workers of forest industries of the Russian Federation, and on the side of the Vologda region Forestry Department by Roman Markov, head of the Department.
Regional branch agreement on forestry complex of the Vologda region is a regulatory act that regulates social and labor relations and related economic relations between employees and employers, establishing general conditions of remuneration of labor, social guarantees and benefits, stimulating work efficiency and creation of safe working conditions for the employees of the forestry complex of the Vologda region.
Alexander Churkin, the Chairman of the Council of the Union of Forest Industrialists and Forest Exporters of the Vologda region, noted that in the current difficult situation for the timber industry complex it is necessary, first of all, to try hardest to save jobs, ensure labor rights and social guarantees of forest workers.
