More than 65 students of the Forestry Department of the Vologda SMCA defended their graduate qualification works.
The attestation commission included representatives of logging companies and the forest surveying organization of the Vologda branch of “Roslesinforg” “Sevlesproekt”.
From JSC “Group of companies “VLP” graduate qualification works were evaluated by Alexei Evstafyev, advisor to the General Director on forest relations and Natalia Khoroshun, head of the forest certification department.
“The topics of the diplomas were topical: about reforestation, forest felonies, landscaping, etc. Students compared forest crops created by different technologies, gave a dendrochronological assessment of plantations. According to the results of the defense students were invited to work for us”, – said Natalia.
