September 29 at the invitation of the Group of Companies “Vologda timber industry” region visited more than 20 representatives of the leading construction companies of the country – members of the Association of Wooden House Construction.
In July, VLP joined the Association and immediately decided to intensify joint work: to show the technological capabilities and a wide range of products.
The guests were welcomed by the General Director of VLP Group Alexander Shangin. He told about the enterprises of the holding, the capabilities of woodworking plants and the products they produce.
The business program of the meeting included an excursion to one of the modern sawmills “Kharovsklesprom” and a round table “Opportunities for a wide and optimal use of sawn wood, produced by modern timber factories, domestic timber construction.
In particular, the guests were shown not only the available stable geometric dimensions of the manufactured sawn timber, but also shown the possibility of implementing virtually any scheme of wood cutting in accordance with the requirements of the buyer and the maximization of the efficient use of raw sawn timber.
