Today Alexander Churkin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC “Vologda Forest Industries Group”, presented the new General Director to the team. He became Anton Zebants.
Anton Josef has a great experience in industrial sphere, including timber industry. Before coming to VLP, he was the head of the EGGER Drevprodukt Gagarin plant for 5 years, a subsidiary of the EGGER Group (Austria), which is among the world’s leading companies in wood processing.

“From the windows of our house in Austria we could see a sawmill and a metallurgical plant. This determined my professional future. I worked 6 years in Donbass, including Alchevsk, a few years in Evraz Group in Moscow and in Siberia. The last 5 years in Smolensk region. Coming to VLP is a big challenge for me. There is a strong team here, a serious technological base and excellent traditions. I am sure that my experience will give a new impetus to the company’s development”.

Anton Sebants was born in Austria. He became a citizen of the Russian Federation in 2022.
