More than 10 million rubles were allocated to charity within the framework of the “30 Good Deeds” project, which was implemented by the Vologda Timber Industry Group JSC in honor of its 30th anniversary since the company was founded in 2021.
The project was aimed primarily at supporting medical institutions, sports, additional education, cultural events, and social assistance to the areas where the Group’s enterprises operate.
The project allocated funds to organize hot meals for ambulance doctors and purchase medical equipment for regional hospitals. Assistance was provided in staging the play “The Posadskaya Story. Continued” in the Orthodox theater of the Verkhovazhsky “Center for Traditional Folk Culture”, charitable funds were transferred to establish the Vologda Orthodox Training Center, volleyball balls and volleyball uniforms were purchased for the students of the Vokhtoga School, a park area was improved near the monument “Zenitka – monument to the fighters of the Cherepovets-Vologda Division Air Defense District” in Vologda. Vologda, allocated funds for celebrations devoted to the 76th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (Loiginskoye Municipal Entity, Andomskoye Rural Settlement) and much more. The transfer of a unique specimen of a meter car found at Kharovsklesprom enterprise as a gift to the Moscow Transport Museum attracted great public attention.

The deeds were different: from financial assistance to young biathletes from Vokhtoga village to take part in all-Russian competitions to participation in creating a training ground in the field of logging and wood processing at the site of V.P. Chkalov Forestry Technical School of Cherepovets VPOU. I am sure that all “good deeds” supported by our Group of companies will be complemented by new projects for the benefit of our region’s residents, confirming the status of a socially responsible business».
Group companies regularly hold events in the areas where they operate, supporting social policy, sports, medical and children’s educational institutions.

Note that in 2022 the project will continue under the name “People of Good Deeds.
