25 students and 280 schoolchildren were trained at the range in logging and woodworking

Students of BPOU VO “Cherepovets Forest Mechanic Technical School named after P. P. Chkalov. V.P. Chkalov” learn the basics of the profession in the training laboratory of organic, analytical, physical and colloid chemistry. The modern professional equipment for the laboratory was helped by the Vologda Forest Industries Group JSC.

Since 2019, the technical school has been implementing the project “Training ground in the field of logging and woodworking”. The educational site includes several modern training laboratories and workshops equipped with innovative equipment. During the current school year, as part of career guidance activities, the laboratory was visited by 280 schoolchildren.

"The training laboratory is included in the educational process. It is used daily for training sessions, students perform practical work on the laboratory equipment, and prepare for participation in professional competitions. In addition, the training laboratory is used during career guidance activities with schoolchildren, and we also plan to use the new equipment to train employees of enterprises in the profession of a laboratory assistant for chemical analysis. This area of training is in demand at the plywood and board production facilities.
